HollandChess.com is a non-profit educational agency, committed to the training and development of juniors and adults in the art of tournament chess. We are associated with the Michigan Chess Association (MCA), as well as the United States Chess Federation (USCF). In addition, one of our board members is the founder of WestMichiganChess.com, a website that our students will find very helpful as their chess skills develop. We have an instructor and management team consisting of quality people who love chess and love teaching children; most of our staff are USCF Class-A and Chess Expert rated.
HollandChess.com is no longer sponsored by any particular school. Our desire is to teach the intellectual sport of chess to as many juniors as possible. With this goal in mind, our leadership has consultated with various school administrators with the goal of developing a practical strategy enabling us to effectively acheive our mission goals. School administrators have encouraged us to form a non-profit, and promote our educational services to all students, regardless of school affiliation, via Community Recreation programs.
Our commitment to chess education extends to adult leadership development, helping adults to not only learn and love the intellectual sport of chess, but to also develop the skills to pass-on their passion for chess to the emerging generations.
